Navien is pleased to welcome you and members of your company to our state-of-the-art Training Academy in Woodbridge, ON. Our facility provides an in-depth training experience taught by our expert instructors. Attendees have the opportunity to work in a hands-on environment with live-fire units and learn real world applications.

 

Furnace Installation and Service (NPF) 1 day

Course Description:

The 1-day Furnace course is an advanced installation and service training with approximately 7 hours of instruction time.  The class includes information on the Navien NPF Furnace.  Attendees will gain a better understanding of the installation and service details of these units.

Course Details:

  • 1 Day course: 8:30am - 4:00pm
  • Approximately 7 hours of instruction including both classroom and “hands-on” training
  • Includes Navien parts kit (over $1500 value!) and all course materials
  • Lunch provided
  • Certificate of completion issued at the close of class
  • Class size limited to 18 people

Goal of course

Following successful completion of this training course attendees will be equipped with the knowledge to successfully install, operate and service NPF products.  Upon completion attendees will be welcome to apply to join our Navien Service Specialist (NSS) Program.

Transportation:
Transportation is not provided. If flying, the nearest airport to our facility is the Toronto Pearson International Airport.

Meals:
Lunch provided.
 

Hotel:
Hotel rooms are provided for the night before class for those paying a tuition price of $350(CAD). Navien will pay for room and tax only. The hotel will require you provide a credit card when checking-in, but you will not be charged upon check-out.

Dress Code:
Dress is casual. However, due to safety regulations, you must wear long pants and closed shoes (both heel and toe) as you will be working on equipment.

Subjects covered include, but not limited to:

  • Product overview
  • Advanced installation details (venting, gas, electrical) including basic system sizing
  • Component description, function, and diagnosis
  • Control setup, operation, and service functions
  • Troubleshooting issues, error code descriptions and diagnostics
  • Common installation issues and service procedures
  • Maintenance requirements

Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations must be received at least 72 hours prior to class start time to receive a full refund. After this period, no refund will be issued. Refunds will be issued in the same form as payment was received. Please allow two weeks for processing. 
Navien reserves the right to cancel classes at any time. In this event, attendees will be notified and refunds will be issued in full.
